I agree with all of that. I think if he can hit .290-.300, play a solid SS, and maybe have a little more pop with say 14-18 2B and 4-6 HR then you take that all day.

Best part about him is that he has SEC experience for 2 years. He knows what to expect and if he works hard enough can be very valuable.

Love the potential of Tanner Reaves from an offensive perspective. Good looking swing from the left side and hard to beat an average over .400 with 45 XBH, 86 RBI, and a .500 OBP. Defensively he needs some work though.

If the bat plays, you stick him at 2B and hope for the best. If you do that, have to have a good SS though.

Would be similar situation you have this year with Dugas at 2B. I'll take it if the bat plays at the SEC level and its not too big of a stage for him.

Disappointed that we didn't get Hawks. Looks like he had pretty good looking numbers.

2.84 ERA with 70K 50 IP with a .214 BAA

Still have quite a few pitchers on the radar.

RHP Sam Whiting, UCSB portal monitor

4.10 ERA, 36K in 26 IP. A bunch of walks (19) leading to a whip of 1.6, but had 12.3 K/9, .245 BAA

Maybe Braswell had higher strikeout % a few days ago, but now Braswell is at 26.1% and Thompson @ 27%.

No new indications on social media regarding Branch or Bosacker other than the previous Jordan follows.

"If you're one of the best players in the transfer portal, we're the place to play," head coach Jay Johnson as he looked down at Paul Skenes, Thatcher Hurd and Tommy White in the presser

That class is so stacked it is unreal. Getting 4-5 of those 11 will be a win. Similar to last year with Kling, Jones, Guidry, Neal, Noot, Shores.

11 Top 100 already and we're after a couple more in the top 20. Lester where is PJ Morlando and Noah Franco ranked?

It’s a top 100 and they aren’t on it

Morlando is 5th, Franco is 14th.

The only other uncommitted top 100s are Jack Frankel, another MSU decommit who goes to high school with an LSU commit. And Talan Bell, another guy we're on.

ETA: Scratch Talan Bell off, he's committed to Florida State. So all three uncommitted top 100 guys are former Mississippi State commits.

that's interesting to say the least. Someone at BA made a mistake then. Franco is #8 on PG and Morlando should be top 20. Trying to flip Connor Shouse too who is #15. Class could be nuts.
