Maybe Braswell had higher strikeout % a few days ago, but now Braswell is at 26.1% and Thompson @ 27%.

"C" might have been a B- until I saw Hasty come in. He has had absolutely no idea his last couple of outings....and then to have him throw only 1 curveball (his best pitch) in his bad sequence. For an expert hitting coach LSU batters swung at way too many bad pitches.

Would be better than being 16 seed matched with Tennessee

Need Dugas and Fontenot to get picked up with cash strapped teams.

Our secondary pitchers have looked better recently, and the secondary pitching of Oregon and Gonzaga is no better.....we still are VERY much alive!

He also blew a couple of opportunities against Georgia with RSIP with less than 2 outs. Hard to understand.

Central Conn. didn't see Oregon's #1 pitcher (Ahlstrom) Both Oregon and Gonzaga's pitching falls off dramatically after their Aces. We are still very much alive.

Cal is not ahead of us, and if they take series against #10 Oregon that might really hurt us.

Dugas needs to go back to 2nd. Will help him for his future, and us to get more bats in lineup.

Interesting......has speed....comes out of same high school as Dave Collins, who was, for a short time, part of that Big Red Machine.

nps……..very true! I think our discipline has really been bad.....we could have a lot more walks, and could have driven pitch counts up on opposing pitchers. Also, our bunting skills seem to be non existent.....recall many times during the year where a good bunt could have been very beneficial.

Competition between Storz, Labas, and Henry should be for the Closer's role next year...….none should be expected to throw more than 2 innings. We'll let Hill and Hilliard start but they should be limited to 5 innings. If they have similar problems next year, they can compete for the closer's role the following year. Vietmeier and Beck should be given opportunities to start also, but only if coaches are confident they can throw an off speed pitch over the plate on a 3 ball count.Walker can continue to compete for starting job but only if we can get his sub par fastball to not be the pitch he throws 75% of the time....Marceaux….that leaves you with being next year's ace...….START TODAY!!!!!
