Terrible bands with one great album

1) Panic At The Disco - Pretty. Odd.
2) My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
Both of these bands have a trashy teenager-type fan base, and most of their music reflects that, but these 2 albums are timeless.

Anyone remember Nashville session guitarist Eric Heatherly?
He put out a great album in the late 90s titled Swimming in Champaign. I'm surprised he never became semi popular.

I’m not saying GNR was terrible but no other band made a career off of one album like they did.

What? Their first album is a classic and Combat Rock is great too.

Fuk it. Sublime-Sublime One of the GOAT albums but I dislike the rest of their stuff.

How do you find pretty odd better than their other works?

If a band can release at least one great album, it'd be hard for me to put them in the "terrible" category.
Probably wouldn't think of many of these type of bands as having a great album, though.
It'd be easier to come up with good bands that have really only had one great album.
