I saw him going off on some Republican about the Burn Pit Bill... Then later they showed the Republican guy and Stewart being best friends.. The Republican guy probably explained that the attachments on the bill were some democrat pork BS and that is the reason the Reps. voted against it... Why does this crap have to be explained to democrats? They should know this crap by now...

I don't have an issue with him advocating for the vets but the bill was horrible for the taxpayers. Let's keep spending money we don't have. He could have called out the libs to make a single bill but that didn't happen.

He's a leftist. He doesn't care about veterans, he just likes the good PR.
Whoever downvoted this, please tell me how you can claim to support veterans and military members while voting for the party who withholds military paychecks (Obama did this in 2011; I was active duty when it happened and Navy Federal Credit Union stepped in and fronted the money) and actively encourages activists like Kaepernick to openly shite on active duty members and veterans? Democrats are intentionally weakening our military. The single job of a military is to be the best fighting force possible, not to be a social experiment where you tell white people how all of America's problems are their fault over and over and over.

The bill was pure when it went to the house, then, sent back to the senate for a vote, was wrapped in tons of pork that had nothing to do with vets. That’s why it died.

He advocated for my younger Veteran friends and some of us older ones at a time we needed support. He's done the same for 9/11 1st responders and their families.
His politics aren't mine but I respect his willingness to engage helping our Vets.

No, they voted against the ridiculous $400billion addition for “future use” with no parameters.
If they actually cared about vets they would make a clean bill, all of 4 pages and pass it. Instead vets’ healthcare is used as a bargaining piece.

Where do people come up with this? You can read the bill yourself. There's absolutely nothing else in it other than burn pit exposure inclusion healthcare for vets. Nothing changed in it from vote to vote except petty spite of deceitful elected assholes after they got put on blast.
There's more colors than red and blue to paint the dickheads in the room and I hate both sides.
