Really an interesting band, imo. Very atmospheric and good story-telling on their albums.

I do think that a lot of songs on albums sound similar, but their albums typically differ in sound from one another. For example, The Stranger or I Will Be Back One Day sounds a lot different than The Balancer’s Eye and Vide Noir.

What do you think? You like them? Hate them? Meh?

I really enjoy them. They have their own sound.

Loved their first album. 2nd album was alright. Haven't been able to get into anything since then.

I find them to be pretty boring and unimaginative. They seem to have a very generic sound.

Long Lost is a great album and has been on constant rotation since it came out. I saw them about a year ago and it was a very good show. I'd definitely see them again.

Same. I've lost interest at this point but I wouldn't blame people who still have enthusiasm for their music. I liked it quite a bit at one point.

Yep. I hear them a lot at coffee shops run by black rim glass wearing feminist

I think their first couple of albums were quite good and they’ve been fair since then

I saw them in 2019. They are great live, but, not anyone that I would go out of my way to see again. A lot of their songs do sound similar.

I don’t listen to them often, but I’ve never heard anything I disliked. “The Night We Met” is one of those gut-wrenchers…

saw them live in Austin last year and had never heard of them before that. liked the music, but I could never tell when they switched songs because they were all the same. Also the ending of their last encore song went on for about 5 minutes.

That's where I'm at. They've got a nice sound - whether right or wrong, I call it "atmospheric." I, generally, like most that they play, but it is pretty similar sounding stuff.

Their first two albums (Strange Trails and Lonesome Dreams) had them at the top of my Spotify listens for a few years in a row probably. Saw them live twice. Vide Noir came out and I wasn't too crazy about it but it had some good songs. I really cant even listen to Long Lost. It's just not a good album. Oddly long interludes in the album as well.

Still a great band and very unique, and I'd see them live again, but they have dropped down the list for me. Which is disappointing because their first two albums are two of my all time favorites.
