Insomnia: Tricks to beat it…

I spent most of today exhausted and napped a few times. Now, I am wide awake and cannot fall asleep.
I already hit up 3 mg of melatonin. I have the AC set to low and have a fan blowing on me.

There’s a thread on the movie board about the Eyes Wide Shut movie and the moon landing - some of the articles linked in that thread are pure dee anesthesia.

Milk has tryptophan in it.. it increases serotonin levels.. increased serotonin helps with melatonin... Sugar intake is minimal for 8oz of milk.. it's like eating a banana

Have you tried not doing this? Also if you're in front of a screen a lot, try adjusting your blue light setting on your monitor/phone, apparently that can keep you awake if you're on your phone/computer at night.
Don't try to use meds, then you won't be able to sleep without them

I’d say lay off the naps. Try to be a little more active during the day.

I break out the rosary. Halfway through I'm out like a light.
Relaxing.

If any of the things listed here worked I would not be awake right now
