Those who have been, or live there, how would you rate Denver, CO?
I've only technically been to the airport in Denver, so I haven’t experienced the city yet.

So, what you're saying is that you're Illuminati?

Don't be silly. He's not with those jokers. He's with the New World Order. They have way cooler robes.

2/10. If you like hipster transplants drinking garbage coffee while driving Subarus poorly, it’s the place for you.

Don’t see the hype. Colorado isn’t the only state with mountains so I don’t give AF

Gorgeous. It's the sunshine state.

I think it’s cool. It’s increasingly crowded and expensive but the outdoor access, climbing gyms, weather, food, night life, music scene, and fit women keep me around

dumb post. The continental US has 67 fourteeners(mountains above 14,000ft elevation) and Colorado has 54 of them.

About like I do vanilla ice cream or Melba toast

It’s a cool place. 14th street mall is more ghetto than it used to be. LoDo is pretty hipster. Their art district down there with all of the shipping containers is pretty weird. That said, it’s got some great views, I like the pro sports scene, tons of craft beer to try in the area, and it’s relatively nice.
I couldn’t afford to live there

They all look the same! I prefer to see pretty mountains in a state not full of idiots.

Break it down by prominence and it's less impressive.
For instance, Mount Saint Helens had it's top blown off and it ranks 80th in prominence in the lower 48.
I'm saying this as a lover of the Rockies. My dad was born and raised in Denver and is there to this day.
There really are some beautiful places surrounded by mountains outside of CO though imo.
Eta....I live within 5 hours of more prominent mountains than in all of CO.

Not as good a city as Colorado Springs or Castle Rock. They’ve let Denver go to shite. Downtown Denver is nice, but overrun by bums. The airport is about 30 miles from downtown. Colorado Springs is much nicer.

It would be close to my last choice of places to live in Colorado but close to my first choice of favorite “big” cities if that makes any sense. Melting pot of people. Mostly white and Hispanic. Almost anything you can think of to do or eat. Cool backdrop of mountains. All the major sports teams. Red rocks nearby is cool. Being an hour or 2 drive from world class skiing is a major plus for me. I don’t like their politics in Colorado but damn what a beautiful state.
