Unfortunately he was very very smart in how he went about his crooked activity, and gave himself a lot of plausible deniability. Also had GREAT lawyers.
He's guilty as hell but the US A's office did a poor job.

WDSU exact words. “This was a witch-hunt by Donald Trumps Justice Department.” Yea well they presented 0 evidence at trial so the favor must have been called in for the Democrat DA from the Democrat AG in Washington and the so called “Justice Department”.
He would be going to Federal Prison if he had an R by his name.

Crackers went down guilty but jurors let Williams walk.

Oh man, Nicole is now feeling betrayed. Williams better watch out. I’m sure his law partner (and more?) knows about a few skeletons.

So what? Dude's probably untouchable at this point. Especially with the current Justice Department.

What about his wife and family?
Law license?
Black community (they can be so fickle with a brother who marries a white woman)?

I'm not going to address his behind closed doors family situation, but I can't see how the other two are not water under the bridge with this verdict.
Hell, if anything it likely increases his cred in the "black community." Plenty of them will see it as nothing more than standing up to "the man" and coming out on top.
I can't see the Attorney Disciplinary Board wanting to poke the hornet's nest further on him given the verdict. I'd be shocked if they took any action at this point.
