It would be much worse. Not because of anything that trump did, but because Democrats are lil kunts. Had this been trump's 2nd term... Democrat governors would still have their states locked down. State media would still be fearmongering about covid. The worst covid cases would still be portrayed as the average cases.

No

Trump would have ended the money as he was already in the process of doing.

By April and may of 2020, Trump was stating Americans had to get back to work and was calling for states to reopen.

I like the fact that Biden is catching heat on this topic or any other topic, but this isn't really true

A lot of your raw materials for batteries and steel came from Russia and Ukraine. There would be no war under Trump to vault production of those.

Really? Trump was going to build chip factories, find all the raw materials, and have them fully operational in under a year?
Hey Barack, are you going to next ask if he was "gonna wave a magic wand or something"?

The issue is not so much building chip factories. The issue was/is a matter of what chips are being produced. Trump would have done a deal.

1913. The worst year in American political history.

We wouldn’t be sending 100b to Ukraine.

We’d send some money, but not nearly as much. I think Trump would send more weapons to Ukraine though.

Russia wouldn’t be able to win this economic war with Trump in office, because we would be drilling oil, keeping pipelines open, opening more pipelines, and flooding the market for our western allies with oil. The higher the price of oil is, the better off Russia, China, and OPEC will do. Gas prices would have still gone up if Trump were in office, but prolly no more than $3.00 a gallon.

And by December, 2020 he wanted Congress to pass out another $2,000 in stimulus checks. He only got $600, then the Dems managed to hand out another $1400 in January.

The US is producing as much oil right now as it ever has. That is despite cutting oil production during the shutdown and having to ramp back up in the midst of supply issues.

Again: Domestic oil production is NOT the problem here.

Fewer illegals, no China taking Taiwan and no Ukraine war. Fuel independent, less of a supply chain problem, economy would have opened back up sooner. Fauci would be unemployed. There are others but that's enough for now.

The country would have performed more like red state economies.

The climate loons war on oil is a big part of the current economic mess. That wouldn't have happened with Trump in the White House. We would have remained energy independent and become a more powerful exporter of oil and gas. Biden's eco-loons are trying to shutdown fracking in the Permian Basin where fracking is producing around 40% of our energy.

The Ukraine war would not have been likely to happen, but Biden's feckless disaster in Afghanistan emboldened Putin's adventurism.

With Trump, the business and investment climate would have been positive and confidence would have remained high. Problems in the supply chain would have been solved as a result.

Perhaps so, but as goods (including gold & BTC) are priced in those currencies, what is your point?

Well, the post I was replying to claimed we would be building everything at home.

But I like the way you changed "waive a magic wand" to "done a deal." Both phrases have equal amounts of baseless optimism.

President Trump was still in office in March 2020, his first term. What does that have to do with a theoretical second term?
