For a shared universe, that's annoying from my point of view.

Are you familiar with the source material? I don't think you understand how the shared universes work in comic books.

Within individual franchises they generally keep the same theme and tone. Why should they do the same across very different hero types?

Because they are all in a shared universe and are also part of the same overarching franchise. The three seasons of Daredevil and the two seasons of The Punisher all take place in the same universe as She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law.

I like humor in comic book movies. The characters and plots need it IMO. I mean they’re all so ridiculous if you try to keep things too serious. But I also hate camp so there’s a fine line to walk.

The worst stories for me are the serious one. Daredevil or Luke Cage for example. Just so depressingly serious. What a drag.

I don't care if I understand it or not, it's still annoying to me when I see it show up on film. I never read comic books when I was younger and I don't read them now, so I don't know how they're supposed to work. However, I know what works for me and I can tell you the tonal shifts from film to film are jarring. Thor is a perfect example. Thor is pretty straight laced in his first four MCU films but is straight up campy when we meet him again in Ragnarok. He then goes back to being pretty straight laced in his very next film appearance (Infinity War) before going back to being farcical in Endgame. I haven't seen Love and Thunder (and likely never will) but judging from the trailer he's a farcical character and punchline in that film too.

Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk has also undergone a massive tonal shift. He was a fairly serious character in The Incredible Hulk, The Avengers, and Age of Ultron. But when we see him again in Ragnarok he has become just as campy and as silly as Thor. The trailer for She-Hulk shows that hasn't changed much.

It actually looks like It’s a cinema level budget. Hopefully better than Ms. Marvel

Have we met she hulk yet in the movies or shows and I missed it or is this out of the blue a new character?

Why does the MCU hate hulk? He was a total bitch in IW and endgame. Now getting his arse whipped by lady lawyer hulk ?

From the looks of it,more people are excited about the Daredevil cameo, rather than anything about SheHulk, actually.

If I had to bet, that's going to be the major draw for this show. But I'm willing to bet his cameo will be very tiny, as in an after credit scene for the last episode.

Thor...

The guy who slams a coffee mug claiming he wants more?
The guy who walks into a vet clinic asking for a worthy steed?

Yep.. never a sign of a just a dumb bro until 2 movies later.

There should have been at least a few years worth of movies during the snap’s time period. We never saw any of the real consequences of Infinity War.

This is a fantastic idea and hopefully is revisited. MCU get to it.

She looks really uncanny valley to me when Hulked up, I’ve never gotten that vibe from Banner’s Hulk but she looks very odd to me.

Was coming to post this too. I don't know if this will make sense or not, but it seems like her mouth moving when she talks as hulk is completely CGI'd and weird looking, whereas it looks normal when Bruce talks. Something is very different about hers, and her mouth looks completely unnatural when she speaks.

But that trailer definitely looks better than the first one I saw a few months ago though.

But I definitely agree with these:
quote:

Ruffalo is so cringe as Hulk.

quote:

Female character with brand new powers automatically better than established male character with tons of experience.

He's training her yet she picks it up and is immediately better than Hulk. I guess maybe she's not stronger than he is when he's mad?? But I don't know how that works with Hulk/She-Hulk.

Also, the 4th wall scene was a little too meta for me, but maybe that's how it is in the comics?

Yeah, this one definitely needs some nudity (she hulk tits) and a graphic sex scene.

CGI still looks like shite, but the show looks pretty funny. I do fear she will be a Mary Sue, better at everything than happless male Banner

Someone did a deep dive on this and found there were two main reasons she was in the uncanny valley:

1. Bruce's facial hair helps with brain recognition as to "this is supposed to look real" - but her skin is too perfect.
2. The main reason her skin looks too perfect is because the minor things made to generate a more human appearance were lost when they compressed the video for online format. People who have seen the original footage (uncompressed) have said her CGI looks WAY better.

Is he established though? There was kind of a throw away line, a joke, in Endgame that Banner is embarrassed by Hulk. With the rumors of a World War Hulk show being in production, and the MCU potentially going back to a more out of control Hulk I wonder if his next arc, going from in control Professor Hulk back to that more out of control Hulk begins in this show.

I don't understand how any grown up can like Marvel shite.

It is Big Bang Theory level of production
