For those who have tried this diet, what did you do to switch things up?

Did you go straight beef and water, or did you eat chicken, pork, fish, eggs, and cheese? What was your reasoning?

Little to no cheese.

I did add some low calorie sauces like Buffalo and soy.

Did you do beef only, or any type of meat?

How did it work for you?

Mostly chicken, beef, and salmon.

Any meat is fine, but you'll need fat to get your calories and not be bland

If I didnt have to eat out for work a lot I'd eat only meat and fruit almost exclusively.

I'm one week in. Here I am reading in the news that our politicians want us to top eating meat in order to save the planet, and I'm committing myself to an all meat diet.

I had a meat lover's omelet for lunch. That was a nice change of pace. Been having a couple of hard boiled eggs for breakfast, no lunch, and a steak for dinner. Not really hungry and not really having cravings. I have not had any diarrhea yet, but we'll see. I am peeing a lot. After everything I've read, I do not trust my farts right now, though.

I feel really good. Much less inflammation in my legs and rib cage, psoriasis on my scalp is almost gone, and I'm sleeping better. Oh, and I'm down 7 lbs. I'm going to get my bloodwork done sometime in late August, so I want to still be on the diet at that point.

I started a few days ago. I guess according to purist I'm not really doing carnivore because I need more seasoning than salt. And other than from a philosophical standpoint, I don't see any reasoning from a nutritional standpoint to not include spices and low cal - near zero sauces.

Not strictly Carnivore:

I do any seasoning I want but they’re mainly the basics. I use hot sauce or burger sauce for the cheeseburgers.

Cheese
Pork
Beef
Fish
Onion
Eggs
Pickles (for electrolytes)
NO ALCOHOL

I only eat no more than two meals a day, (mainly one) and portions are around 6-12 ounces.

Going on 3 months, although I took a week off during vacation.

You need to go nose to tail carnivore. Liver, spleen, heart, testicles and kidneys should be included.

Feeling great. I didn’t binge or anything but some tacos and margaritas.

Rouse’s has cleaned calf liver for $4.99 a lb in the frozen meat section. It’s four individually sealed 4 oz. servings ready to go. I had on tonight with a fried egg. You can’t beat that price for nutritional value.

I'm 2months in, love it. I eat beef, chicken, pork, fish, eggs, and cheese. I also add different seasonings, just make sure they dont include sugar or corn. I've come to learn almost everything has corn in it.

Sorry bro. It's also $4.99 a lb which is a great deal on any protein these days. Here's a link to the product at a higher price.

Any Updates Jax?

I'm 10 days in, so far not bad. I was psuedo-keto before so no headaches or anything.
Have lost a few pounds and feel pretty damn good. Some cravings, but not too bad.
A good bit of energy during the day and during workouts.

Plan on doing 30 days and go from there.

I haven't heard of Carnivore Diet but I'm looking to get on something to shed some weight. I've done Keto and it worked well in the past, but it is a lot of planning and counting.

So are ya'll eating no veggies? What about fiber? I'd be afraid I'd get plugged up?
