I was trying to think of a kicker at 6 and I can’t.

I can’t with a good conscience put Johnny Hekker there.

There has to be a better #2 somewhere right?

Aaron Brooks? Kidding.

Doug Flutie if you include the CFL championships.

he only to average about 9,000 yards and 53 TDs per season to catch Warren Moon in 5 years.

was my first thought too.

Me too.

62 - Jason Kelce. Over HOF Jim Langer? That would have given the Dolphins 3 interior OL with Larry Little (66) and Bob Kuchenberg (67).

Recency bias is strong with this. Outside of a few exceptions that simply can’t be ignored (Bednarik, Butkus) it’s a Super Bowl Era list. Billy White Shoes Johnson picked for #81 over Dick Night Train Lane is stupid. #45 probably should be Emlen Tunnell over Kenny Easley. Fouts as #14 instead of Otto Graham or Don Hutson?

Number 93 should be Dwight Freeney instead of John Randle.

Bingo.

Don Hutson was LIGHT YEARS ahead of his competition at WR/SE when he played. THE best receiver in NFL history until The GOAT came along.

Dan Fouts wasn't even the best QB of his era. Not even Top 5 if you take in the range from mid 70s to '87 when he retired.

I think a serious argument could be made for Marshall Faulk over Adrian Peterson, and that's not taking anything away from Peterson.

Sounds logical. Randle is in the HoF, Freeney is not. Randle has 12 more sacks in 2 fewer years' although similar number of games played

Freeney will get in the HoF, not eligible until next year. I think Dwight edges Randle out at that jersey number.

Also, when you're talking about Best Defensive Tackles in NFL History and Best Defensive Ends in NFL History, I think most people would agree you'd have to go further down the DE list to get to Freeney than you would down the DT list to get to Randle.
