Meh, this actual subject of the article I posted is not truly political in any concrete sense.

If it were about protests in Montgomery to change the Alabama law, you might have a point.

But this is as political as, say, posting a thread on gasoline prices by state. Some loose political connection as gas prices by state are influenced by the state’s economic policies, but not political in any concrete sense.

(My two cents on what constitutes a proper overlap between Poliboard and OT board concerns regarding politics.)

I'm glad they cleared this up for me my sister was 3 months premature, she's not really a person just my fetus sibling. All these years I thought she was an actual person, stupid me.

Connecticut, among others outlawed contraceptives even for married couples until the Supreme Court held in 1965 that the law was unconstitutional based on the right to privacy.

I haven’t heard of a state currently proposing new versions of such laws, but I wouldn’t put it past the religious nuts in office these days.

I've read the Constitution. It says nothing about the right to buy contraceptives. Nor does it say anything about the right to by Tums, or aspirin, or 'roid creme.

Such questions are legislative issues, just like abortion. It's amazing how many people don't understand how a Constitutional Republic works.
