Have a guy at work who double-masks, never touches doors without a paper towel or cloth, and never gets within ten feet of anyone.
He got covid a couple weeks ago.

My son is 17 and looks like aby other 17 year old, but he has a genetic condition which makes getting sick (with anything) kinda dangerous. He masks everywhere. We all just caught RSV from my little one, and I ended up with pneumonia from it. My son never got it. He's very careful. This is how it's been for years, but other people are just now catching up as far as minimizing exposure.

Another possibility is that there are a lot of unattractive people out there. They might look better masked.

it's a free country. People in Asian countries have been wearing masks for years. I remember being in Disney 15 years ago and folks wearing masks.

Why do you care? Seriously. No man should be worried about what another person wears.
I don't mask but this is totally bullshite.
Anyone that mows or rides ATVs knows masks help a great deal. I also dealt with pollen much better during the mandates.

The flu disappeared because they didn't care about it.
It also disappeared because it was covid in many "cases"
The true flu number went down because for the first time ever, we all stayed home when we were sick and washed hands and sanitized surfaces. Flu spreads more on surfaces than the cold viruses(covid).

These are simply people who are suffering from some kind of mental illness that forces them into anxious states when interacting with normal people in a face to face environment. Yes it’s coming back I’ve noticed. The ones that are the most ridiculous are the ones that wore them then stopped and now they’re wearing again.
If you have a true reason to wear one I.E a person in your household is at risk, then you never stopped wearing a mask from day 1. I can’t knock those types. But the virtue signaling is certainly obvious when idiots all of a sudden started wearing them again because the news said so. Freaking sheep.

At a baseball tournament a couple weeks ago there was a black woman and a black man, late 40’s early 50’s with masks on the entire time during 1 of the games. They only lowered them to drink and put them right back in place after each sip. It looked absolutely miserable because it was very very hot. I’ll never understand these people.
