New AI can predict crime in Chicago a week in advance with 90 percent accuracy.

A lot of people can probably predict crime in Chicago. If you knew all the areas where most of the murders, etc is taking place you can probably go to any location in that area and say "within 20 yards of both sides (40 yard total) there will be a murder that will take place within a week..
Seriously, that is pretty cool but information is only as good as what the people who has it does with it.

You could give NOPD a list of crimes a month in advance and I bet they'd stop less than 10%.

Ishanu also predicted, and confirmed, that Lake Michigan is full or water, and if you quickly say the mayor’s name three times, she will appear.
