it’s like y’all have never watched summer league. These are not “meaningful reps” LOL

it’s not a big deal, it’ll be fun to see Jose/Trey/Naji play basketball. You’d have to convince me though that those guys playing in these games is “meaningful”

now dyson/EJ (if he’s signed)/etc, very meaningful

First game Saturday Night @ 7PM Eastern on ESPN, vs Portland.

Hopefully Dyson dunks on Sharpe at some point.

Trey looked like the king of SL last year.. he was the "steal of the draft!"

Then season started and he looked lost, got buried behind Temple, and finally got minutes at the end of the season

Every year I'm like "Oh hell yeah I'm watching Summer League, can't wait to see _____"

Then I watch 5 minutes of Summer League and remember.

Deividas Sirvydis will play summer league with the New Orleans Pelicans, per sources.

A 22-year-old shooter averaged 12.5 PPG in the G League last year.

He had a career-high 34 PTS, 10 REB & 6 AST in a W vs. Grand Rapids Gold.

One major caveat:

Willie coaching the team definitely set the tone for effort and defense later in the year. That DID begin in SL last year. I expect the three "vets" to set that tone again.

But, yes, the actual basketball is pretty painful.

He's rehabbing from a torn ACL. Maybe he'll be ready by camp.

Don’t expect Trey or Jose to play many games in Vegas. Same goes for Naji.

Jax should be out there unless he's working with some combo of JV/Nance/Zion 24/7
