They didn't just stop at first.
Their first pivot was to blame Trump for the Asian Hate b/c he blamed China for Covid. So it was Trumps fault that people who hate Trump were somehow convinced by Trump to take out their pandemic frustrations on Asians. That was hilariously stupid.
Their next pivot was to combine the actual attacks like in the OP with reports of racial slurs and verbal abuse against Asians.
That aggregated total made the numbers skew back towards whites being the perpetrator in the majority of 'attacks on Asians'. So now, the data puts events like Suburban Karen calling her Asian Neighbor a bad word in the same data set as the event in the OP. That's absolute bullshite.

Yes please. Guarantee you this guy doesn’t even do a year in prison.
But I would also love to compare the sentencing to that of Garrett Ward. This is a sucker punch and assault/knock out on video unprovoked. I guess the perp is lucky this Asian man wasn’t “frail”…but to me intent to commit this type of crime should be prosecuted the same way and he should be facing a similar 30 years

The Asian hate comes from deep rooted jealousy from these people. Asians possess much much higher IQ’s, way stronger work ethics, value the nuclear family, and are much more successful, and the list goes on and on.

The majority of Asian hate crimes were black men being shown. The national media and social medias moved away from Asian hate because of the videos being shared.
This is just one of many.
