Two witness' interviewed after the incident said the black man was already sitting on the bench when the asian man walked up to wait on the bus and was scrolling on his phone when said black man got up unprovoked and sucker punched the asian. Try to find another excuse.

You misunderstood what I wrote. I didn't say that American media didn't cover the story. In a city with such a huge Asian population as Los Angeles, there's no way for them not to cover the story. I read articles from at least 5 American media outlets.
What I said was that none of the American media outlets gave a description of the perp, or used a photo of him in their story, even though he has already been arrested so there is obviously a mugshot of the guy. From reading their accounts, one would never know the race of the perp.
Only the Mexican news company Univision had the huevos to post his pic.

What's shocking is that.. There are probably multiple number of unproved assaults that happen every day in the US. But all of a sudden there has been this huge focus on Asians.
I read this awhile back and I have no idea if its true, but evidently this whole campaign behind protecting Asians and showing the US cares about Asian people has to do with the US's relationship with India (which is in Asia). The US is trying to build a closer relationship with the country (I forget why, but I am sure the population of the country plays an impact and it is located in a place where it would be good to have a stronger military presence).
Evidently, that played a big role into Kamala Harris being Biden's VP candidate. She is half black, half South Asian, but its used to promote the acceptance of Asian (especially people from India) people.
