Acadian at Perkins, that makes sense. What about Lee at Perkins?
Yeah that one can be a shite show as well. Acadian some how seems worse - mainly in the afternoon during the school year. It backs up from I-10 and can often take 4+ light cycles to get across Perkins. I’ve seen many people block Perkins Road and get stuck there. Although in that case, I think there’s only an arrow to turn left from Perkins onto Acadian (e.g. no “yield on green” - you either have a turn arrow or a red light). So it’s not so much people pulling out waiting for oncoming traffic to pass as it’s just people trying to turn before they get a red light.
I don’t think it’s as bad on Lee/College at Perkins. What fricks up Acadian is that you have a shitload of people trying to get on I-10E from both ways (coming from Mid City and coming from LSU), AND all of those people immediately get stuck on I-10 trying to merge before the College exit. So the traffic backs up from the on-ramp. College isn’t as bad because the traffic is mainly coming from one way and the on-ramp continues as a new lane.

Getting honked at by some douche if I don’t make a turn when I don’t feel 100 percent safe doing it because the cars approaching are coming fast.

Has anyone mentioned drivers that stop or almost stop before entering a clear roundabout?

I always use my cruise control on interstate and I want to kill motherfrickers that pass me up in the left lane, then get into the right lane and fricking slow down, making me change lanes and pass them. Then two miles later they pass me again.
I want to PIT maneuver these fricks.

Drivers who leaves 1-2 car lengths distance between the vehicle in front of them making me miss the turn signal because of the short turning lane.

Boy I fricking turn red when a car with no one for hundreds of feet ahead just starts hitting their brakes.
Happens everyday on I-10 westbound by LSU lakes(dalrymple exit).

When I'm on a 2 lane road going 5-7 miles over the speed limit and some jackass is still riding my arse.
People who assume my 18 wheeler is governed and zoom around me just to drive slower than my intended speed.
Not all truckers are assholes that try to pass annoyed truck doing a half mile slower than he is. It's just the mega carrier drivers that are dipshits.

Merging traffic onto the interstate…it’s your job merging to safely get up to speed or slow to merge behind traffic.
It is not the oncoming traffics responsibility to move from the lane to let you into traffic. It’s a courtesy that can not always happen.

When you’re on cruise control on the interstate, someone comes up from behind in the other lane, and proceeds to drive the same speed right next to you

-Leaving an entire car's length in front when first in line at a light...WHY?
I do this in turn lanes to get the turn arrow. It usually won't activate for just one car, so stopping where a second car would be triggers it.
So suck it.

I never understand why people want to pull out in front of you, then go 40 in a 55.

This REALLY bugs me, because I lived in Utah for 30 yr and people were pretty good about using that space in the intersection to make a left. BUT, I've noticed since moving back here (Shreveport), that when the light turns yellow in my lane, the oncoming lane is often still green and to make the left may end up being a head-on, so I end up waiting to make sure the oncoming traffic is slowing/stopping. There are still plenty, though, who just sit there waiting for their arrow or absolutely no one in the oncoming lanes.

Cutting over to the far right lane to be first at a red light preventing everybody behind you who’s actually turning right from doing so.
This times a thousand. I live off a nice, four lane road that intersects with a much larger, heavily trafficked road. When some jackass moves into the right lane at the light and doesn't turn right is criminal. The major road gets the preference with the lights and this jerk just held all of us up so he can be first to go straight.

-- Realizing you need to be in the turn lane (whether right or left) and coming to a complete stop with your blinker on and holding up traffic behind you because you're too stupid to proceed forward and look for a proper place to turn around.
-- Ignoring the "Turn only" sign on the lane your in and proceeding as far as you can go then stopping in the turn lane with you blinker on holding up traffic behind you because you're too stupid and impatient to sit in a lane that has traffic in it.
-- TEXTING or otherwise having your face stuck in a phone while driving.
Baton Rouge has the lowest IQ drivers on the planet.
