What people in the 60s thought society will look like in 2062…

How society will actually look in 2062….

And that’s being generous.

I loved cartoons. But did not like the Jetsons for some reason.

I was a huge fan of

Saturday mornings I was tuned in to The Gummy Bears, Loony Toons, Smurfs, Transformers, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Weekday mornings It was USA's Cartooooooon Express. I loved Rocky & Bullwinkle, Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, and Jabber Jaw.

Weekday afternoons I enjoyed Scooby Doo, GIJOE, Voltron, Heathcliff, and He-Man.

Impossible to believe this show was only on for one season!!

Astro and Scooby had the same voice.

Ernest T Bass was idolized by Judy Jetson as a pop singer on the show. Even has a song released that Judy wrote for him.

In the last episode, s student in Elroy’s class is watching the Flintsones on his wrist TV.

The voice of Judy Jetson was married to Robert E Lee.

I heard that too. One of the reasons was that it was in color, but most people could only watch it in black and white because color TV was still not widely adopted and because ABC had only a few affiliates that retransmit the ABC network’s color tv signal. So ratings were probably not that great.

But the series was revived in the 1980’s for syndication and some new episodes were created for those runs. There is even a movie, and there have been on and off plans for another one either animated or live action.

Fun fact: Jane Jetson was 33 in 2062 and Daughter Judy was 16.

So are you implying George Jetson was a perv, and liked the young ones. So George was a 23/24 years old dating/impregnating a 16/17 year old. Which is legal in some states depending on age of consent laws.

I knew something was off with that show.

Looks like the left will eventually succeed with their attempts to normalize pedophiles.
