Are You Prepared for the Coming Food Catastrophe?

Across the world, experts and analysts are now warning of skyrocketing food prices and catastrophic food shortages. In mid-May 2022, United Nations chief Antonio Guterres said the world is facing years of famine, and urged Russia to “permit the safe and secure export of grain stored in Ukrainian ports” to ease shortages.1,2

Blame for this global food shortage is, officially, being laid at the feet of “climate change,” the COVID pandemic and the Russia-Ukraine conflict.3 But while all of those have played their role, other factors are also contributing to bring our food system to the breaking point.

In 1992 at the Earth Summit, under-secretary-general of the Convention on Climate Change and executive director of the UN Environment Program, Maurice Strong, stated that:25

“Current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class, involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning, and suburban housing, are not sustainable.”

If meat consumption, frozen foods, fossil fuel use, home appliances, air conditioning and single-family homes are “unsustainable,” it stands to reason that the goal of any sustainable development scheme is to eliminate all of those things, and this process of elimination is now well underway.

It’s All About Creating Forced Dependency

Understand, The Great Reset involves the destruction of supply chains, the energy sector, the food supply and workforce, to create dependency on government, which in turn will be taken over by private interests and central banks through the collapse of the global economy. A large-enough war would accomplish all of these aims, which is why the possibility of world war cannot be discounted. An anonymous correspondent recently wrote about this on WinterOak.org:26

The hell it isn’t.

It isn’t if you freaking follow the greenies playbook.

It is in a sane world.

Again. When John Kerry, Barack Obama, Leonardo DeCaprio, Al Gore, and all the other greenie dolts downsize to a 1200 sq ft house, shut off their A/C, eliminate their needless 2nd homes, ground their jets, and eat nothing but plants. Maybe I’ll take them seriously.

Until then… I’ll rev up my SUV in remembrance of their hypocrisy.

And also notice….. they said “middle class”. Didn’t say nothing about the “upper class”. Just an observation.

I’ve been working on stocking the pantry for several months now. At worst, the canned goods are cheaper than they will be in a year.

If there’s a rush, I’ll still be there to try to grab some odds and ends, but at least I won’t have to panic about the finding the staples.

Very few are prepared for a true collapse...

It is late in the game to try to get prepared as well...

Also, CC had nothing to do with this. Russia/Ukraine does a tad, but I’ve been in discussions about world wide food shortages for 2 years now. We all saw it coming. Also, be prepared for our government to ship our food overseas when we need it

Cannibalism is a possibility for me. I just don’t want to eat mRNA-contaminated meat and don’t want to eat my fellow pure-bloods out of respect.

What to do

Absent from this critique are private jet owners and yacht owners...

I've been building an emergency dry food / canned food / water supply for well over 2 years now, after all of the COVID-forced supply chain disruptions laid bare the need for this. I've mentioned this on other boards and been openly mocked, but we've managed the supply rotations quite well to keep dates fresh and taken advantage when sales hit. My wife hates that I've taken a portion of her workout room for shelving to support this, but understands why I've done it. If the emergency supply isn't needed, oh no we have a bunch of canned food to eat that has been well rotated.

We can't last a year on purchased food just yet but that's what the guns and ammo are for. Well, what the guns and ammo were for until an ill fated trip to the lake.

Air conditioning in private residences that are not Government projects is going to be intensely targeted by US FedGov in the coming years.
