May be time to dust off the Bug Out Bags and gear, things may get messy.

National average for gas was $5.10 today, healthy chance it will top $6 in another 30 days. Trucking and transport are going to get very constrained.
Nothing may happen but better safe than sorry. Patriot Supply has the 4week on sale right now btw.
JimB you ought to do an update on your original thread.

Wife and I have one year of Patriot emergency food, 50gals of gas, 20 cases of water and +/- 1500 rounds of various rounds of ammo. Big assortment of batteries, small solar chargers and six life straws. Not saying I’m ready by any means, but so what prepared.

I don’t get the down votes. Many of us live in the South. Our larger cities are already filled with those who’ll kill over being disrespected. What do you think will happen when the grocery store runs out of food? They’ll be attacking your home. Hungry people get desperate.

Yea, if you live in a metro area you better have an exit plan at all times.
I went through Katrina with two months of no power and no law.
Literally took turns posting armed guards at the entrance of our road for majority of that time. Caravaning up to MS and other areas for gas and goods.
When a plains cloths sheriff, trooper, and a ANG tell you to just do what you need to and throw the bodies in the bayou, they will fish them out later. You know shite is real.

My wife is a head in the sand type when it comes to politics and world events. That said I have enough food for months and a place and the means to defend what is mine. The thought of going off grid has crossed my mind allot lately. Not looking good out there

Yeah i dont know why people are downvoting. We are on the cusp of a lot of min wage people stop showing up to work. Better to sit at home and get a check than drive to work and spend $100/wk on gas. Lot of trucking companies aren’t going to be able to stay profitable without immediate surcharges. Things are poised to get very ugly.
Again maybe nothing happens. But we’ve been teetering on this line for a while now and I’d hate to be at home wishing I had prepared.

Wow. Are you saying you would rather die than fight like hell for what’s yours?

I agree that a bug out bag will do little when the shite hits the fan but a bullet for each family member? WTF

I agree, your much safer hunkered down in your home than getting on the road- unless you have someplace to go.

You know what drives this mentality....fear. Use some logical thinking and there is zero reason to prep on that scale. IF and a hug IF our economy was cut in half tmrw. its still a top 10 economy in the world. YES everyone will make sacrifices. But its not ever gonna be at the level these conspiracy nuts thrive off of./
