Remember when I was in government accounting and there was a certificate I qualified for and my boss insisted I apply. Requirements were 2 years government accounting work, fill out this form (they have since increased requirements). After I received my certificate, boss insisted I add that to my e-mail signature.
I get a laugh when I attend continuing education classes and the speakers add their different memberships to their power points. Oh, you're an AICPA & LCPA member; congratulations on paying your annual fees, you must have worked hard to accomplish that

People with PhDs expect to be called doctor. Why don't we call people with masters degrees Master?

It's very prevalent in healthcare--more so with clinicians than admin. Nurses and techs are obsessed with including every single accomplishment short of a drivers license on their badge/signature. There are also a ton of online "advanced" nursing degrees.
For example, an acquaintance is getting his "doctorate of nursing practice" in "leadership" in an online 12-18 month program. He's really looking forward to people calling him "doctor" when he's finished.
On the admin side, usually when I see MBA it means they went to a for-profit school.

Have you ever tried weaving or knitting? That shite takes some skill. A valueless skill, but hard as hell.

So many years ago I had a workers comp injury and had to get surgery. I had a lady who would come to my doctor visits and she would put all of her 'titles' behind her name in her report to the company.
I would get a copy of the report and discuss it with my surgeon the following visit (pre and post surgery visits). After her first report which totally contradicted what the surgeon said he pointed to the 'initials' and told me that only insecure people would put those behind their name.
He asked me if it would be ok to speak with her 1 on 1 and I said yes. After that her reports were 100% accurate.... would really like to know what her told her.

Might want to keep that one to yourself. Makes you look like you don't know what you're talking about.
If you work in the corporate world, you most likely answer to individuals in the C-suite with J.D. after their names. They're generally attorneys who passed the bar, but are not current practitioners.

Expert witnesses are expected to list all their credentials.

Just provide the highest title you have achieved
I have to list three because all three require it listed in professional settings or I could lose my certification/license. It's a pain in the arse.
I now feel personally attacked by this post.
