Didn't know that. Haven't invested much research into it.

Thanks

When more players join how do they decide what team they go on. And what happens when you get more than 56 players. Are you going to have 4 some playing?

I expect after the Us Open you will have players like Lowery and Hatton join LIV also.

Excellent question I was thinking about that too. They may have to start cutting people or have two separate tee times. Would they redraft again after adding more players with more teams?

If they did this with shotgun starts, the rounds would last every bit as long as a PGA event, kind of defeating the purpose of a shotgun start

The events are only 48 players each tournament - invitationals. There is also a draft for teams each week. Who knows exactly how that works

He cant suspend the ones that havent.

Its prejudicial in nature.

Will be lawsuits and PGA Tour is going to get destroyed in court.

If anyone feels otherwise, Id be more than happy to make a wager or ban bet on it.

I’d love to see them write the names on a board and do a captains pick. World golf ranking determine captains. Let that 4some go play low ball.

I'm assuming guys outside the top 48 just get released from LIV or don't get invited that week. They're a healthy scratch.

PGA Tour is fricked and they know it.
Let’s face it. The saudis have frick you money and golfers don’t really care about the John Deere classic. Shame on PGA for having almost a year to do something about this but continuing to just stay silent.

Do you think if the PGA Tour had done something last year the Saudis wouldn’t have offered the money they did or that the players would have turned it down? Because the PGA wasn’t going to pay Bryson, Phil, or DJ anywhere close to 9 figures

They seem to have set this up like F1.

Do you think, if this works in 3-4 years the teams are not drafted by the captain weekly? And the teams have “owners” paying a guaranteed salary - then the owner taking the team winnings?

I guess this would have to assume the absurd payments to DJ / Phil would calm down.

Like two years ago - what if Wolff accepted a $7m offer but this forfeits all his winning to the “owner” or a percentage of the winnings. Would he take that? Assume you would at least think about it.
