PGA tour has money, they just choose to spend it in ways other than paying players (lpga, korn ferry, woke agenda, etc). NFL pays players around 50% of gross earnings. If LIV establishes a following around the world they could easily make enough money to compensate 48 golfers along the lines of other sports.

Par Perez just gave the PGA Tour the finger and joining LIV. They must have thrown a lot of money his way.

They’re already doing that. They have over a billion dollars invested in 48 players and that’s with Tiger turning down the billion they offered him. Easy to do when you have the financial backing they do and no imperative about being profitable
But no, the sport of golf would never legitimately generate the revenue needed to pay their players like the biggest leagues in the world. That’s just not realistic. The top 10 or so players, sure maybe, but only at the expense of the remaining 200
