It has sucked allll year. People on this board have defended this POS staff since March. Making bs excuses and giving passes. "oh its early" "given them time" It has been a hot garbage performance. This JJ does his best Manieri impression today. Pulling people too early, leaving them in too long. The bottom half of the order has been non existent no clutch hits, disappeared for 4-6 innings a game. We deserved to be embarrassed. This USM team could barely cobble together a couple of runs against Army, and that podunk georgia school but lights us up for 24 in 3 games.

Several of these guys need to pitch elsewhere. Every late signee needs to be an arm and id focus 100% of my transfer portal effort on bringing in arms.

Just mediocre pitching would have won the regional.

That’s just how high the bar is here- our two worst seasons in 20 years resulted in a last inning elimination in a road regional and a road regional win and super regional.

Hopefully we have a shortstop, catcher, a #9 batter who can hit and a shitload of good transfer portal pitchers… looking forward to seeing the roster for 2023…

I don't know that they're a better baseball team. Every LSU bullpen pitcher lost control of their pitches the last two games. LSU gave them 6 runs last night on walks and balks, and gave them 5 the same way today. If the pitchers found their stuff, I don't think they hit well enough to keep up.
