They have florida as the 15th host, thats just dumb, other than rpi, what do they have over us? We beat them at their place, they are 18-16 in conference, we finished 18-15, top 50 rpi for each is about the same

If that ends up being the case they are putting way too much weight into a bullshite conference tournament that had all kind of weather delays and us playing past midnight

I guess making the SEC championship is important to them.
We should be hosting over Florida.
Edit: 12 RPI is much better than 25 so there’s that.

Not mad about that draw at all. Let’s get Berry and Doughty back on that lineup card and take care of business to get to College Station. We owe Aggie a quick trip to the house. If we can do that and at least make it to Omaha, I’ll call Jay’s first season an overachievement and can feel good about spoiling 8&4feit’s season.

Think you are taking the draw too much as gospel, offs are the regional and super regional matched up with it in projections is never the way it falls when its announced

Well D1 could still be wrong, but this goes to show why there was no reason to feel like 1 win this week was guaranteeing LSU a host spot. I kept talking about the importance of winning at least two, while all I kept seeing on here is "this game doesn't matter. LSU is a host, no matter what". The people who are always the most sure of themselves are seemingly always the least informed.

Come on dude- in comparison to Florida our resume is better. Beat them head to head. Finished with a better regular season conference record. Their last 3 conference series were with 3 of the 4 worst teams in the conference. They’ve gotten hot in the SEC tourney, that’s it.

Pre-season, you probably had LSU going 22-8 and winning the SEC - getting a top 8 national seed. So, relax, calm down, and go pick you up another Lindy’s baseball magazine. Sit down, leave the purple and lemon-lime Gatorade in the fridge, and re-analyze the LSU baseball team. In fact, re-analyze the last few years.
The fact that you come back with that type of response and the fact that you refuse to be honest about the LSU baseball team - because you think it “could” make you less of an LSU fan shows how asinine and obtuse you are.

It's unlikely LSU will host, but all projections of assignments to regional locales at this point in time are pure speculation.
