I’m only through 3 episodes but spoilers
That scene at the end of episode 3 where they are looking through the files and max is seeing that Eddie and Chrissy were both having the headaches she was having, and Dustin and Steve were yelling Max’s name and it turns into Vecna calling Max’s name, may be one of the best scenes of the show. They did that so well.

I used to be one of those people, back when I was in a band and actually played guitar daily. I learned several songs off the Blink182 Take Off Your Pants and Jacket album less than a week after it came out, just playing by ear. The only one I can still play is 'Stay Together for the Kids'
Blink182 just happens to be what I was into at the time, but if it were Metallica I easily could've done the same.
Not a big deal that he would've known how to play it weeks after the album came out

Never has a show brought the ET and goonies and everything anyone loved about the 80’s into todays society and made it work so good. The music, the nostalgia, the storytelling, and the acting. It went places others have tried and failed. It this show finishes strong it will go into a time capsule with the greatest tv shows of all time. It’s so hard it accomplish this feat with so much material thrown out you today. Strangers Things figured it out.
