And the millions who also have taken those drugs but never shot up a school or killed themselves?

I’d say the correlation there is that these kids had mental health issues to begin with and were given standard medications to treat based on symptoms shown in treatment.

That said, there is a black box warning for some of those for teenagers for suicidal ideation and that should (and usually is) explained to the kid and parents.

Alcohol causes changes in people's behavior that also can result in violence.

The dope? Stay off it.

Nancy Reagan was right. If you stay in school and off the dope, you'll probably be okay.

Heavy weed usage on a kid's brain is not good. The brain is still developing until the mid 20's. Fact

Makes you wonder how an 18 year old soldier can have the mental capability to not follow unlawful orders.

The potential for cannabis to cause psychosis may depend on a variety of factors, including the individual's genetic predisposition, age of onset, and frequency and amount of use. Additionally, the use of cannabis may interact with other factors, such as stress or trauma, which could contribute to the development of psychosis.

Sativa makes me weird. Indica doesn't.

I can see issues smoking a lot of sativa. That shite can make you paranoid as hell. It makes me jumpy, anxious and not very patient

About every strain these days is a 60/40 or 70/30 hybrid.

I had some 90/10 sativa a while back. I love heavy sativa for the mind haze, but that's too much. Need the indica for the body to feel good full effects.

I stick to 60/40s sativa.

Does the opposite to me.

Some strains cause overactive minds which leads to anxiety and depression. Anxiety is the worst part. I've had to rethink my entire approach.

Indica doesn't do much for me. No head high at all, just tired feeling.

Sativa is my thing but I have to use a hybrid to keep from the overwhelming anxiety.

the dispensary here carries almost all hybrids now. I did find a nice hybrid strain that I really like called laughing gas...sativa dominant and a reasonable THC level that I can smoke during the day and have a good time with

otherwise I stick to sativa, I don’t smoke to get couch lock. Nothing worse for me than not wanting to get out and about

I know plenty of guys that wake and bake. None are violent and they are all productive people.

Your list makes me think that big pharma has us all convinced that there is a pill for everything. Some people are just f’ed up. On the other hand, the excuse of mental illness is given out too easily. Call these people what they are, mental midgets.

Having thoroughly talked myself through this…..bullies need to make a come back. Convince these mental midgets that they need to stop being whomps.

Good talk!

I guess it's an individual brain chemistry thing. I struggled with my temper quite a bit as a young man, that disappeared when I started shooting up pots.

My friend is a marijuana doctor and he calls it “gsychosis” since all the marijuana addicts turn to homosexual prostitution to fund their addiction

Hybrids that lean to the sativa side are my preference.

There's not. But weed isn't quite the miracle drug its proponents try to push.

Its recreational and not a damn thing wrong with moderate use, if you can advocate for yourself and know when to draw back.

I just don't want to get like those dudes who have a 5 second delay when you ask them a question.

The worst part of weed for me is the potential anxiety, and the short term memory loss.
