If GA has open primaries my guess is the record turnout (even with voter suppression…lol!) was due to Dims getting their grubby hands involved to keep the least MAGA shysters in office. Would it surprise anyone if 10-15% of the vote was from Dims stirring up shite?

The reason for that - if there is a runoff only those people who voted in the primary can vote in the runoff of the same party. i.e., if you voted in the rep primary and there is a runoff in the Dem party you can't cross over and vote in that runoff.

But consider the shift in the generic ballot. Some of those crossovers are probably legit. By legit I don't mean they're now reliably conservative (they're probably clueless) but I mean they're doing it because Biden is tanking the country and they plan to vote R in the fall, rather than because Reddit Atlanta told them to skew the GOP primary.

This is anecdotal. But crossover that i have spoken with are voting raffensberger and kemp.
More people are moderate than the media would have you believe.
