True. We can all agree Orgeron and staff sucked arse and had quit recruiting without omitting facts. While they offered Eli, it’s no secret they cashed it in back in late September last year as far as coaching and recruiting so yea Kelly is having to make up ground in lots of cases.

It's been rumored we are behind on several in state kids but the staff is making a furious push to get back in. Curtis, D. Williams, Matthews, and Holstein seem to be the names brought up the most that need some repairing of the relationship.

Yes....Eli visited on Saturday and then came back for a second vist on Monday. He is not a "lock" for Alabama like some would think.

Previous staff has nothing to do with it, kid transfered highschools because of Walker Howard, he's not coming here.

Actually the pay sites are reporting the exact opposite of this. High School and College are not the same. We wouldn't know who Eli was if he didn't transfer schools. He is going to have way more competition then Walker Howard anywhere else he chooses to go to.

That’s all you can ask for this point. The longer he waits the more time it gives us to make up ground and keep building that relationship.

Little Nicky will be pissed if he whiffs on Eli and Arch. I would love for that to happen...

I can't tell you how many times I've seen this repeated on this board.

He will have competition anywhere he goes.

You're telling me he will go to bama/top school but he is scared of the almighty walker howard?

The narrative is already starting to change on here now that he is visiting.

I believe it will be a lot of talk about Ala and LSU to get our hopes up to be dashed. The Manning’s have never liked LSU.

Never understood why so many on this board act like the
" Mannings " are some kind of monolithic entity. The family will step back and let young Arch make a mature decision where he wants to spend the next 3 to 4 years of his life and will fully support him in his decision.

Yeah, it’s not like that family manipulated the NFL draft to get their kid to the team of their choice.

I grew up with Eli and was around that family a ton. Their name is a family business. Arch will go where he can win. Plain and simple.

Lol, not good enough apparently. I’d rather have one of the national guys anyway. We can do that now that we have a real coach.
