That kid is leaning heavy to Bama right now, I would expect him to jump as soon as Arch committs to Georgia

Didn’t he also leave STM so he wouldn’t have to sit behind Walker Howard? Wonder how much that plays into his decision

The previous staff was literally his first offer
He doesn't want to sit behind Howard. He decommitted from A&M and the family is likely close with Joe Sloan so they're at least going to pretend to listen and hear LSU out right now.
He'll be at Alabama.

So sets him up to transfer in the next 2 years after sitting behind Simpson and Milmore and possibly a 2024 kid.
Not saying the kid isn't good but has I don't want to sit written all over him.

He's great. But I think he wants to play early.
I also think it's a different situation sitting behind a random 5 star at Alabama and a guy you have a history of sitting behind in Howard at LSU. Not as simple as "I'm scared of competition."
More so just "I don't want to do the exact same thing I already avoided doing."

Yes he did but people keep bringing this up like that was a bad decision. If he stayed at STM then he would just now be the potential starter at STM this coming year with little to no experience. Instead he is a 3rd yr starter and a top 10 QB in the country with a 5A State Championship in his belt...
So people need to stop with the idea that he ran away from competition because he was scared. He ran to opportunity to develop and establish his own brand. On3 has his current NIL value at $350K. It is stupid to critcize the guy for going to find playing time. He cannot go to any major college program and not have to compete from this point.
