I still play BFV. 2042 isn't even installed on my ps5 anymore. The disc is buried in my closet in case they make some sort of game altering patch.
I'd pay money for a russian expansion :(

This game is pretty tragically trash. What is this Non-Patriot bullshite but we still have US vs. Russia? Give me a damn flag to fight for.
Also all these vehicles is just garbage. It's shite. It's not fun at all. I keep trying to like it but they've done so much wrong that it's probably insurmountable.

Did they patch where you could one-shot a tank with a drone? I never got in a vehicle once i figured that out, death traps.

I play it a bit about once week to see how things are improving. The briefing they did on the incoming map changes makes me think the game will be more playable by end of summer. As a long time Rush player, I cant stand the 2042 maps. The new added cover and movement routes should help the 2042 maps but the specialist system still sucks imo.

2 new guns (Assault rifle+ crossbow)

I generally don’t pre order games but I did with the BF2042 hype. Not only did I pre order it, but I was so sure of it brining BF back to its glory days, I got the Gold Edition or whatever it was called.
It took about 10 hours of game time to realize that was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. I’m not being dramatic either.

I did the same thing...and while I'm continuing to try the game out and it *is* getting better, that's relative to how horrible of a game it is from the start.
Don't get it twisted...this game is awful in just about every way. From map design to weapon offerings to vehicles to connectivity--it's just an atrocity.
Battlefield is best when it's 32 vs. 32 or maybe they could consider 50 vs. 50. That gives them freedom to create some maps with varying detail and areas of interest. But it really should not mean they create maps with blobs of detail and then vast opennesses of nothing and despair in between.
