Is there any truth at all in this hopeless drivel?
Gun deaths surge and disproportionately affect young black males
“Sherwood”
The citizens in the video above and many like them could very well have more cash, and they certainly have more merchandise than I do. What, oh what, could it be?

Federal officials and outside experts are not certain what caused the surge in gun deaths. The rise corresponded to accelerated sales of firearms as the pandemic spread and lockdowns became the norm, the C.D.C. noted.
But federal researchers also cited increased social, economic and psychological stressors; disruptions in routine health care; tension between police and community members following George Floyd’s murder; a rise in domestic violence; inequitable access to health care; and longstanding systemic racism that contributes to poor housing conditions, limited educational opportunities and high poverty rates.

Need more midnight basketball programs.
Seriously, though, I have little sympathy for them in this matter until they acknowledge it is actually a cultural problem they have created with the dismissal of the nuclear family, victim mentality, and the glorification of the hood culture.

I would just really appreciate the media being honest instead of fabricating apologies for a problem that is terribly plain to see.

One started happening because of the other, but not the way the CDC wants it to be.

The narrative must be pushed until November.
Small break therafter.
Small break therafter.

hint: Woke DAs, gutless judges, and emasculating the police. Thats a really good start if you truly want to understand the problem. Which, they don't.

In other words, let’s blame racist white people. Once again.
Without reading the article I guarantee there are no concrete examples of all this white racism.

Not even a break anymore. It’s all racism, all the time. Doesn’t matter that Dems, many of whom are black, are in charge of things. White racism must always be to blame.

limited educational opportunities
This is the biggest lie currently being sold in this whole bullshite debate.
Inner city black youth have more access to education than almost anyone, and most of it is free. They can go to college......for free. They will then be given preferential treatment in whatever job market they enter after graduation.
They have every advantage they could ask for as far as education goes. They, and their families, just don't give a shite. There is little value to them in an education.

I thought The Affordable Care Act required people to buy insurance. Why aren't they following the law that they voted for?

All they have to do is try, just a little. Just be barely, even almost qualified, and they’ll get the college admission, the scholarship, and the job. They’ll get it over the over qualified white guy most times.

These young men claim to have excelled at Tara High…they simply chose another path.
Yes, I watched the whole interview last week.

Anyone have stats on the percentage of black men who died at the hands of other black men?

I'm awaiting c on z's take on this
Posted on 5/10/22 at 1:28 pm to bayoubengals88
It's really quite simple. Black people have been manipulated by the left. They've been told they're too stupid to function in society. They've been told everyone is out to get them. They've been told it's ok to sit at home and do nothing because nothing will ever be their fault. Young black males are the single most dangerous demographic in the country.... to other young black males.

Biden should ask Americans if they’re better off since he took office.

Sounds like Johnsons "great society " may not be so great after all

It's not just one thing, but a number of factors. I e would be our national media (see: NYT) demonizing police at white people writ large. They have put forward the narrative that minority communities are justified in their actions at the smallest personal slight towards them. It's all systemic and historical racism and why should they have to put up with it and follow the laws of civil and polite society? They shouldn't in the eyes of publications like the NYT.
So, in summary, the New York Times is responsible for the rise in gun violence in minority communities.

inequitable access to health care;
There aren't too many hospitals in rural areas. Where's the NYT article about this inequity?

The government is providing most with a roof over their head. It's up to the individual to keep it from being "poor housing conditions ".
Also, last time I checked, every child in this country has a free education available to them. In fact, those that are urban poor, more than likely has a school in very close proximity to their residence.
Further, affirmative action actually makes it MORE accessible to education if you are a minority.
