I think it's generally understood that going to a top college (SEC program etc) will knock a few years off the time in the minor leagues. The other end of that is that you get a pretty good signing bonus to come straight out of high school.
I'm going to guess LSU will be the most committed NIL baseball program. People take that seriously here, at a level most don't outside of football or basketball. Remember, it's a 3 yr deal if you come, so I could see a couple guys getting 100k or more to come. It won't match an MLB deal, but would make college a bit more financially appealing.

It is pretty incredible.
I think it also speaks to a lot of the fans overemphasizing our negatives because they don’t pay attention to anyone but LSU and don’t see the flaws other teams have.

It’s nauseating to see some jackasses on this board say shite like “JJ isn’t the answer” or calling for him to be canned already. The work he’s done given all of the challenges this team has faced is nothing short phenomenal.
