Yeah I mean I debate it in my head all the time. I guess it is simply is there a point where we do something or just watch people being killed?

Hell yes! Let's do more than that, lets draft everyone that's not a ultra-maga extremist and put them in the Ukraine.
Drive them Ruskies out!

So you want American’s to die instead?
While I feel for the Ukraine people, the following are my thoughts on the US involving ourselves militarily:

Why would we take such a risk when things seem to be going well enough for the Ukrainians as is?

We are not the world's police. It's not our place to involves ourselves in a regional conflict that has nothing to do with us.

I hate seeing people get killed over nothing. But again, it's not our place to involve ourselves in a regional conflict on the other side of the world that has nothing to do with us. If anything it is happening because of our inability to not meddle in other countries' affairs. I'm not willing to sacrifice one American life in exchange for Ukrainian or Russian lives. There is no grey area there

Why don’t you go over there and pay for it.
No thanks.
No thanks.

I agree with everything said. I just hate seeing it. We are also making it worse and a longer process by helping in any way. Should we just cut it off and let it be done? Many lives may have been saved if we had not helped and made it last longer. A smooth occupation would have changed governance but less people would have died or will die.

Well, we now seem to be in a situation wherein it’s viewed as America vs Russia, and I’m not sure we can really afford a perception that Russia has defeated the United States. I dunno, just another factor to consider.

Know who else could stop it? The Europeans that allowed Putin to grab them by the balls via gas and oil sales. Tell us what branch of the military you are in, and how likely your loved ones are to get a letter telling them you’re dead, then you might come up with your own answer as to whether it’s a greater risk to get involved.

Nope.

If California got bombed tomorrow 90% of this board wouldn’t want to get involved.

when will people like you start admitting that the western installed Kiev govt began slaughtering people in Donbas over eight years ago?
you all refuse to even consider the central issue
you either have no idea how stupid you look, or you just don't care

We also caused it.
