Everyone is religious, whether they know it or not. Humans can’t escape it. Especially when it comes to arguing about what’s right and wrong. I’m constantly surprised that so many people don’t grasp this reality.

And the non-religious also think murder and theft should be illegal.
So what is the disconnect for the majority of non-religious people? They agree murder should be illegal. We all know if a developing baby's life is not ended early it will be born and all things considered live a normal life. So in both cases, murder and abortion end life prematurely. That is a fact whether you want to argue a baby in the womb doesn't count as alive or not.
So what is the basis of non-religious people that a baby in the womb is not alive but out of the womb is?
If two pregnant women are both at 8 months. One goes into labor and gives birth, then ending that baby's life at that point is murder and almost everybody agrees on that. But the other baby at the same level of development but not born can still be killed and that is okay because it is still in the womb.
What is the basis for that reasoning because it isn't science and it isn't logical thinking?

So speaking of percentages:
100% chance you didn’t get aborted
100% chance you’re EXTREMELY happy about that
100% of people who support abortion weren’t aborted
100% chance those who were aborted, would be against abortion.
Also, to answer your question: I guess I’m confused; How would making abortion illegal blur the line between church and state? The church has many stances. All of which are either legal or illegal.
Note: just so we’re clear. Reveraing Roe doesn’t make abortion “illegal”, it makes it a states right issue.

This doesn't make sense. If i was aborted I wouldn't care. What do you remember from your time in the womb?

If it doesn’t make sense to you that aborted children would be against abortion then you’re an idiot.

The basis in colonial times was always "the quickening" which is when the baby first kicks. Before that abortion was considered fine because the child was not "alive".
Ben Franklin included a recipe for abortion in a math textbook he wrote. It was considered part of life.

So you are one of those people that think without religion humans are incapable of having morals? That is a very sad viewpoint
Without religion and without God then you can rationalize anything

Not they don’t. They hide it and cover it up out of shame. If they rationalized it they would do it openly and proudly.
Try again

No sense discussing grown up topics with a guy who’s basis for what constitutes life is a “colonial times” heuristic. My bad.
Your argument is tantamount to saying someone who was murdered doesn’t care because they’re dead. Its semantics and a dim witted semantic way to not have to discuss the hard topics.
So in summary, yeah, aborted babies, if given the choice, would choose to not be aborted 100% of the time. And also, you’re an idiot.

No it's coming from the guy that believes in life after death. And I am assuming that the other poster and I both are insinuating that the souls of these aborted babies are looking down from heaven saying "damn I wish I wouldn't have been murdered by my mom".
