Just flew from Ft Lauderdale to Dallas and I like flying again. So much nicer. I am sure the travel industries are happy too.

It is night and day on the experience. Have taken 5 flights since last Monday night and flying doesn't suck anymore. Flight attendants, pilots, and gate agents all seem happy again, even had a great experience in Newark yesterday (I should have bought a lotto ticket)

I may have been on the last flight that had a mask mandate. It has also been about two weeks since the mandate was blocked so I expect we will start seeing people dying in the streets soon.

But I am sure that the geniuses in charge will take the end of masked travel as just a reason to keep the pre-departure testing requirement until 2025 or so.

Just got back from Seattle. I fly weekly for work and I almost felt naked without the mask on the plane. It was the only time I’ve worn a mask for a year and it was such a relief to not have it on.

It really is nice.

I flew up to Canada last week though and they are still mask nazis on planes. Not really anywhere else though haven't worn one since I left the airport

Freakin flight attendant prodded me awake on my flight from Houston to Toronto because it has slipped below my nose while I was sleeping (didn't even realize that had happened)

I was so freakin mad when I got prodded awake and told to pull it over my nose. Couldn't freakin believe it and of course couldn't fall back asleep

Felt the same way with 180$ round trip flights out of msy to Vegas on spirit that went completely smooth and on time. Also , had a window seat each way and no one in the seat next to me. It was awesome.
