Conversation Albert Breer @AlbertBreer

Two more teams that are open to moving down, if things fall a certain way—the Commanders and Saints. If a receiver they like isn't there at 11, Washington might slide back a few slots. And the Saints could move off 19. (Not as many teams looking to go up.)

Exactly, I'd hope they're looking at all possible angles.

Pick Penning at 16 and trade down from 19 to pick someone in the Dotson, Pickens, Watson tier

(This is assuming the top 4 WRs are off the board before 19, which is looking more and more likely)

If there is an early run on WRs and we get our LT at 16 then the 19 should be trade fodder. If Mel Kipers mock is to be believed then all QBs will still be on the board at 19. Trade that pick to a team looking for a QB. We can pick up a WR in late first early second that can contribute this year.

I know we get our answers tonight but I still don’t understand why we made the trade we did, not knowing how this draft will pan out.

I agree, and that scares me a bit. They surely have a plan. Obviously we reached out to Philly, so they had the leverage, but it would have been nice if we could have wound up with 1 of our picks before theirs instead of being right behind for both. Especially when they need WR help as well.

Mickey has like 13 potential trades lined up.....

Mickey shouldnt be allowed in that room. Ireland Only.
Boot that boomer out. Hes done. Made horrible decisions with saints singing and personal over the years, which put the younger generation in a bind all over the place.

-Playing Browner as a boundry corner
-Signing the center from Chicago
-Signing that RB and S from Buffalo
-Letting Ingram walk,
-Letting Graham go and not paying him what he was worth,
-Giving Gallette a big contract
-Signing Jason David
-Not playing Jenkins as a Strong safety and letting him
play as a free Safety, which he routinely got burned,
-Letting Nicks leave the building and bringing in Grubbs, -Contstantly giving Brees the biggest contract which handicapped the Saints, even when they were protecting his Noodle Arm/duck throwing Arm.
-Not Sticking to his guns and signing Brady.
-Letting Tommy Lee Louis Stick around.
-Signing that TE from the Raiders
-Signing that TE from the Colts
-Drafting that bust of a Center Ruiz.
-Constantly Trading up or away our limited picks.
-His handling of the No Call.
-Letting 3rd down and Snead get away
-The way they mistreated Hicks and let him get away.
