Pelicans star CJ McCollum wants to go to an LSU night game.

From an excellent interview with Marc Spears about how he wants to spend the rest of his career in Louisiana and engage the culture and community. Not the typical article this board would be interested in but I thought this part was cool.

What a great get by the Pelicans. Not only for his play on the court and the leadership to the young team, but for the genuine person that he is to represent the state of LA.

That is how you endear yourself to the fans down here. If he's sincere, and I have no reason to doubt he is, he can become as big as Brees, Deuce, and the many other people that have become truly loved down here.
