Random attack for no reason and the authorities won't even identify the perp as a black man. IMHO, our nation's blacks need to step up to the plate and do something about the violence and crime committed by other blacks. Fox News link: LINK

At this point, I’m surprised they even identified him as a man…

I thought we had to perform an autopsy to know the sex of a specimen.

As one of the comments in that article correctly pointed out, this is exactly what L.A. wanted. They voted democrat, handcuffed the police and blamed them instead of holding the criminals responsible for their actions.

I hope they're enjoying it

What if I told you that the most dangerous threat to young black males is young black males?

It was a person identifying as black and male for all we know.

Now we identify it as a murderer.

This. Until black "leaders" step up and loudly denounce this behavior, I will not listen to a single gripe about how oppressed they are.

Black culture is one of the biggest problems in this country right now, but no one is willing to discuss it or change it.

There are a lot of good, hard working black people out there, but it seems like they all support this thuggish culture.

What is black culture to you? Why do you think it's black culture?

I can't and won't answer for VaDawg, but if you ask me I will say, that for a race that comprises 13% of our country's population, and is responsible for over 50% of our country's crime, black culture is a culture of violence and lawlessness. We could also delve deeper into this area of black culture. And to be fair, approximately 2% of that 13% is responsible for the 50%+ number of crimes. The numbers speak for themselves. The media and our politicians won't speak of this, though, for fear of being called a racist. Meanwhile blacks continue killing other blacks at an alarming rate. Black Lives Matter only when it is not blacks killing other blacks. There's your black culture.

Tolerant of extreme levels of violence, because of 'muh systemic racism'! It's America's fault, not the perp's.

That's what the stats say, not me.

Overemphasis on athletics and not enough on academics. (Hint: A 3.5 GPA is much more realistic and attainable than being an NBA lottery pick.)

Making fun of/putting down kids who actually do try in school because they're "acting white."

Glorifying baby daddy/momma instead of glorifying actually being a parent.

Glorifying gang/hip hop culture.

Reacting with violence anytime you feel "disrespected."

Learning to fight/flee/resist arrest at about the same time you learn to walk.

I call it black culture because people need to stop sugarcoating it. Young black boys mostly grow up without a father present in their lives and their role models end up being the local gang members or the rapper who sings about killing people and slapping women. That is a wretched culture and it needs to be changed.

I'm surprised the media didn't call the perp a "male black". They were doing that after the subway shooting.

There is a lot of truth in this statement. I keep hearing “it’s our culture, you need to stay out of it” like was said by multiple African American pundits. Please somebody explain how violence is acceptable in any culture? We are a nation of laws…..not for certain demographics right?

Silence is violence right? If you sit by and not denounce something you are actually condoning it!

An infantile one that glorifies the worst in human beings, refuses to call out its own, blames everyone else for its problems and is hypersensitive to the point where violence is an acceptable response to a perceived slight.
