I did a lot of research this morning on his postseason history at ND and this guy always comes up soft in big games. In his career he went 4-11 at ND against top 10 teams. You could say its because ND has bad players compared to LSU, but during that time he beat our player "talent" twice under two different national championship caliber coaches (L*s miles and coach O). Those guys are way more accomplished than BK so I'm not sure this is a slam dunk improvement so much as a lateral move or mild improvement. Against big names in the SECW I'm afraid I could easily see him pulling 3-4 losses per season. Of course this rebuild will take a few years, but one good thing is that BK will have a slightly easier OOC schedule at LSU as we fill our OOC schedule with FCS teams. This will inflate our wins total and at least look good. We know we can beat those guys with our eyes closed.

Notre Dame getting smoked in big games has gone on long before Brian Kelly got there. ND hasn't mattered since the 80s. He maxed out what that program can do.

Some of you fricks really worry me.... Do you honestly believe this? BK is the most winningest coach in ND history. He will surpass both O and Leslie's accomplishments at LSU in a short period of time.

Kelly is a very smart man and listening to his interview’s on why he left Notre Dame is very telling in short he said if you can’t beat them then join them. We have the facilities, the talent, and the fan base so why not go down there and WIN against the big boys of the SEC hell Les and Ed got them one why not me. We riding

You remember how fricking shitty O was as a HC before he got here right? Well guess what, that DA gets to LSU and creates the GOAT. What the hell do you think BK can actually do? Someone who is an actual competent coach? Get your head outta your azz baw.

You said national championship caliber Coaches. You meant national championship winning coaches.

This has to be one of the dumbest statements I have ever read on TD...Congrats and BTW Brian Kelly is Notre Dame's all-time winningest coach...I'd say that's an accomplishment

Wow wow wow.

You can choose to look at it the way you are, where Miles and O have a NC and Kelly doesn't. It's completely idiotic, but it's still a factual statement.

OR

You can choose to look at it for what it actually is. Miles and O, both proven failed head coaches were still able to win a NC at LSU. So that means an actual good coach (Kelly) should be able to have plenty of success.
