Your go-to blue jean brand?

Is it just me or have the quality of blue jeans fallen off? I used to have jeans that lasted for 6-9 years. Now, if anything lasts 2 years, I’m pleasantly surprised.

I’ve tried all the brands over the last several years and nothing seems to last.

LL Bean or Orvis is where I get mine. I used to wear Levis but the quality is poor compared to what they used to be 20-30 years ago.

I'm kinda limited on brands because 36 inseam is a pain in the arse to find, but I've had good luck with American Eagle.

They're way more comfortable now but the material is thinner. So. You can wear stiff jeans that last forever or you can buy new ones every couple of years that are comfy

Just get some that are comfortable and you like.

Levi’s, Wrangler, J Crew, Old Navy. Whatever.

It’s not formal wear. People who obsess over which region of Japan their $200 raw denim jeans are sourced from are weird.

I know a guy that just goes to TJ Maxx and picks out what he thinks will fit and rides with that

Levis shrink-to-fit for 45 years.

The quality hasn't changed. The reason Levis aren't lasting as long is that people want to buy them already faded - pre-washed. It's actually more expensive to buy what I call "used" jeans than to get them brand new, with unwashed fabric.

Never had a problem with Levi’s 501 jeans, but I don’t wear jeans very often. Wife bought me some Lucky ones that “dressier” and those are okay as well.

Denizen 285s From Target. It's a Levi Jean but it's $20, stretchy relaxed fit, and last me a few years.

It won’t get a lot of OT love, but Express makes some seriously good jeans, and they actually fit without the old droopy crotch or one size fits all look.

So you wear slacks just sitting around the house grilling some burgers on a Sunday?

They just don’t feel like jeans, but they definitely help with the crotch area when I squat down for something.
