Nothing from my home town: Los Alamos, NM.
But, Alex Bregman is from my kid's hometown and HS: Albuquerque Academy in Albuquerque, NM. I remember watching him play on varsity as an 8th grader. He could have played as an 7th grader, but that was not allowed in NM.
His father, a famous personal injury lawyer in Albuquerque, would always show up to games from work in his suit and tie.
His little brother was good too, ended up playing for a decent UNM team in college.

I went to Woodlawn in Baton Rouge.
Kevin Farnsworth went to Woodlawn and played at LSU.
Sidenote: Chad Durbin played at Woodlawn and lived down the street from me. I gave him a ride to school once. ONCE!
His mom was behind us on Siegen Lane when she noticed Chad sticking his head out the back window of my car.
My friend and I were smoking a joint in the front seat. ooops. Sorry about that, Chad.

No idea if any are from my hometown, but I can name at least 2 who played in my hometown, in the minor leagues. Mikie Mahtook and Mike Fontenot.
ETA: Paul Gervase is from the area.
