All I know is regardless of who starts, the second string QB will be the most popular player on tRant.

They didn’t want Max, they wanted his brother. Max was part of the package. Just My opinion.

his only chance of getting on the field as a started is injury to Daniels and/or poor play

Stands a good shot of BOTH happening at some point. Poor play early in the season & injury towards the middle of the SEC schedule.

I imagine at least 2 QBs (maybe 3) will start under center for the Tigers in ‘22

Once Nuss proves he understands what the defense is showing and can adjust accordingly I think the job is his. QB’s kid with elite tools.

Why pull for or against any of the 4. Opinions on Brennan are simply opinions, seems some are dug in hoping he is the starter and others hoping he sits the bench or transfers.

Last season we finished with 0 starting QB's, you guys should be happy we have 4 very good QB's on roster

C’mon Myles you’ve got this.

I want to see him play his way into the 1st round and then the Howard Era begins.

There's 1 leader in this group. His name is Walker Howard. He has been committed to LSU since birth and became #1 qb in all.of America. He RELENTLESSLY recruited while being committed for a year and never wavered on his commitment to this team.
Brennan is what he is. Injuries happen and I'm sorry to hear. But you idiots who actually believe he tripped on his flip-flop and broke his arm are just dumb.
He then QUIT on LSU and this team and was leaving. He basically got NO traction anywhere else but small schools, and decided to try here.
Nope, I personally would rather see someone else "lead" a team. Not someone who publicly told his team that he was leaving them.

Who gives a shite how he broke his arm? Accidents happen.

He entered the transfer portal because the coach was fired. The new staff convinced him to stay.

Walker Howard was always going to redshirt.

“We won’t know anything until after we see Daniels scrimmage with the first team.”

Daniels has had multiple reps and series with the ones.. A lot. I’ve been to practices and he has had as many as Brennan with the ones, if not more, and hasn’t produced nearly the results. He lacks a good ball and accuracy. PERIOD. The only out route he threw on Saturday in team period was returned for a pic 6.

Lot of people staking their claim in a guy now and if that’s not the one that starts they will never give the other guy the chance.

Not saying that is everyone but that is a larger portion of this fan base than it should be.

Cauble said that Daniels did not look sharp in limited action. Didn’t look accurate and decided to run quickly. Not sure if that was planned and also it’s very early.

This is who this dude has always been. The hype on him and downing of Brennan by a certain segment on here is completely mystifying. Hyping a guy as certain to start that threw the same number of INTs as TDs last season is...something.

Saint, You’re such an idiot..

Brennan left because the entire LSU football program was imploding. Every coach, every player in his recruit class, every player from the the NC team but 1, every trainer, most every administrator, every support staff he ever knew while at LSU were either fired or quit.
He had no idea of what was around the corner in the way of a coaching staff or the offense about to be run. You also have now idea of how many offers he received in the portal. Obviously by your comments you would be surprised but out of respect Brennan did not disclose this information. You also show your ignorance by questioning how he broke his arm. That’s not that hard to confirm if you ask around to people close to the program that were there. I’ll finish by saying Howard will one day be a great QB but your limited knowledge shows itself again because Howard is coming off two injuries and surgeries in his senior year in HS. He will redshirt in 2022.
You have now been updated.

Most really talented running QBs never become great passers and it may not be their fault. If you look at the state of Louisiana with all the skill players we produce our QB talent hasn't been great over the years and if some were great QBs they usually weren't really mobile. The reason for that is it's a lot easier to win football games in high school with a great running QB than to develop a passing game. In the end a great passing QB with limited mobility is going to have the advantage over a really mobile QB with limited passing skills.
