Unpopular opinion: beer doesn’t pair very well with boiled seafood

I don’t understand why people always drink beer with seafood. They’re not complimentary flavors at all. Why would you pair two salty things together? Salt on top of salt doesn’t taste good. It’s a dog shite way to eat boiled seafood.
I prefer drinking something sweet that is more complimentary to the salty flavor of the seafood. Sweet tea, Coca Cola, or another soft drink usually does the trick.

Boiled crawfish suck without a beer. And it needs to be like a Miller High Life or a Natty for full effect

Cold glass of milk goes great with a nice seafood dish.

I’d agree but not for taste reasons.
Boiled seafood restaurants and alcohol make Sonic look like Romper Room.

Salty beer? Maybe you stop being a trashy poor and buy good beer instead of whatever malt liquor swill you have been picking.

Wtf is this shite. Beer is the perfect pairing with boiled seafood. And there is more salt in coke than in beer.

Boiled seafood is one of the best times to drink typical American lagers like Bud and Coors, etc.

Maybe to your fricked up sense of taste, or you only had Goses, but no, beers are not salty and quite a few go very well with boiled seafood. You dipshit.
