We’re 15-6. Largest margin of defeat was 5 runs

to Texas and La Tech. We still have 2 months left in the season.
2009 National Champs lost 16 games including blowout losses to Arky 11-4 and Bama 13-5 and UF 9-3. Also lost to Nichols and Tulane.

It's early in the season and yes this team can turn it around....but it's how we're losing. Errors galore, no production on the plate with RISP, sloppy base running. This team just does not look fundamentally sound right now

I’m confused. Are people not supposed to be frustrated by losing twice to tech and little league caliber errors?
Fire the coach? Obviously not. But frustration is merited right now.

#74 RPI, 13th-best in the SEC. Would not be in either tourney if the season ended today.
Most people knew this was not a top ten team—you can’t fix a lack of talent. But schools like USM and USA are in the discussion every year b/c they make the best of what they get and work their asses off. Not just walk on the field and expect the other team to be “intimidated!”

its the fast paced, need for information now, partisan, black and white world we are currently living in. there is no common ground in anything anymore. its one side and the other, including the type of melting allowed, or not allowed, by fans of the same team..

The almighty pulmonary was 16-5 last year at this time, and got swept by TN and Vandy in the next two SEC series. But panic now for this first year coach dealing with most of the same players and a depleted pitching staff.
