With Brian Kelly’s comments about Boutte earlier during the press conference, Boutte said this on show this morning:
"For my three and out people, I feel like this is a big year for us. Come in, do what you gotta do and get out. You don't want to be here longer than you need to"

Even if true, not a statement you should make.

He's just spitting out the same tired line O fed him while he was being recruited. Sums up the culture under O perfectly.

That's a bad culture. This team needs player leaders. Between this and skipping meetings because he was injured, it's clear Boutte won't be one of them.

That’s a bummer to read

I'm so sick of the fricking drama surrounding some of these kids I am to the point I couldn't care less wtf they decide to do. If he stays great, if not shite on it.

After Kelly’s press conference today and his statements on Boutte, it sounds like Kelly is meeting this mindset head on and if you want to fight him you can get the frick out because that’s not going to be his program’s mindset.
Love it

With that said I have not much expectations regarding this year

I'm going to say Boutte has probably played his last down for LSU already

Wish Gordon would take his money back you can go to Alabama.

These kids no longer care or have anything emotionally invested in LSU

What did Kelly say about Boutte?
Posted on 3/23/22 at 8:15 pm to geauxtigers87
I think that’s a little far fetched…but only a little.

I really hope Kelly shows him the door tomorrow. You can showcase your talents at the combine Mr. 3 and out. Receivers grow on trees.

he's supremely talented, but kelly can't have any of this bullshite with what he's trying to build. that's how LSU got to this point under miles and O

I don't think it's that far fetched. He could very easily sit out and blame it on his injury not healing properly. Hell, look no further than Zion Williamson.

Totally agree. That's what we brought Kelly in for, a culture change.
