UF and Okie should have switched sides.

Actually ggod to see USC is being punished for their weak conference. I was wondering whether UF and OU would be behind them.

USC will finish with 1 loss. They are still in it.

#13 is a lucky number. In 2003, LSU started at #13

Pretty much what I expected. To be honest though- we need to not concern ourselves with that. If we can find a way to beat USC and UGA, we'll be back in the top 10 by the time Bama rolls around.

If Bama stays 1-2 by time LSU plays them and LSU wins out, they will be not have to worry about this ranking.

Yeah, this by itself really isn't damning to us. If we win out, and beat UF in the SEC champs, then they will be hard pressed to keep us out.

Although something tells me with the way the SEC and Big 10 beat up on each other, it will be Penn State undefeated and USC in there.

I said 12 or 13.

This is probably pretty accurate at this point in the season, given who we've played.

We just need to win the games and we'll be fine.

And why do we continue to care about the AP poll?

Sorry, but I don't think that one loss in the SEC will weigh as heavy this year. Texas, OU, Mizzou all have a better shot. LSU was blown out. That argument kept VT from having a case last year.

That's what really pisses me off- The Pac 10 & Big 10 do not play a conference championship- The other conferences get the shaft, especially if it is having to play a quality team, which would be the case this year in the SEC & Big 12.

Take your first four,
Texas
Alabama
PSU
OU

Looks like a 1970's poll. Had to do a double take.

I actually agree with this poll over the coaches poll

Although, I fell OSU should be ahead of USCw for beating Mizzou.

I think with the performance we gave last night, 13 or 14 is spot on.

I can't believe that anyone is talking national championship right now....not after what happened last night. We need to take one game at a time and hope to God that the coaches make some changes. If not, we will lose at least 2 more SEC games this season.

In less than 4 years, Miles' former team, Okie State, is now ranked higher than Miles' current team.
