So... how many are we talking about? Surely he's had a deep playoff run?

He's been with one of the worst organizations in the nfl. They traded away all of his help after one run.

Right. So before they did that, surely he made a playoff run, right?

1-2 record. Not a big sample size.
They lost one game in 2018,
They went 1-1 with a win over the Bills in 2019.

Had a 24-0 lead against the Chiefs in the playoffs which he collapsed and got blown out 31-51 in 2020. So I guess he already fits Atlanta's narrative.

Just think about this, DeShaun Watson is actually having a hard time deciding whether he should be traded from the Texans to the Saints or from the Texans to the Texans.

The stafford reasoning is a good point.

No. The guy is an absolute creep with no relevant playoff wins. I do think he can help the Saints win immediately if he's not suspended for half of next year. Long term, he's a ticking time bomb. I wouldn't lose sleep over it is my point.

So if someone questions anything about DeShaun, his playing history, record, character or anything: they're a dumbass?

But people who want to give up the franchise for a player with a highly questionable history and has strung our organization along potentially screwing them with resigning their own free agents and potentially others is a treat idea?

Put Watson on a better team, like the Chiefs or Saints, you don't think he makes playoffs? I think he has as much success as Mahomes, if not more actually.

Nguyens and Loses are the only important stats.

See thread title. Question his character all you want, but trying to make a claim based on his lack of playoff success on the Houston fking Texans is asinine.

He should have beaten Mahomes and the Chiefs if he didn't have the worst coach in the NFL. They had them on the ropes and O'Brien let them back in it.

Jimmy G made it to the super bowl, clearly he’s better than Watson.

Drew Brees had an 0-1 record in the playoffs when we signed him. This is a really REALLY fricking stupid take.

Brees had zero playoff wins as a Charger
